Hey, girls!
Today I will let you discover my favourite body care tricks. I love natural cosmetics available at drugstores or online. I also use food products to create lots of DIY cosmetics. If you also follow this kind of beauty care, read on!
Summer vs Winter Body Care
Summer and winter skin care is not the same. In summer time, I use lots of protective, moisturising and firming cosmetics. I protect my skin from the sunrays, salty water and drying wind. I have been struggling with pigmentation spots and sunburns long time. That is why I apply SPF lotion or oil to the body skin. Aloe vera cooling gels come in useful when my skin is irritated whereas a carrot seed oil helps to keep the tan longer-lasting.
I use completely different products in winter. My skin gets dry, rough and dull under layers of warm clothes. To prevent it, I apply moisturising balms and butters after every shower. I use a fine-grain scrub to exfoliate the skin on heels, apply a rich cream and put socks on. I recommend products enriched with rose oil, Karite and Shea butter, vitamin E and beeswax.
Firming & Moisturising Body Massage
I love massages. They make my skin tight, radiant and moisturised. Massages help relax and fall asleep. For the treatment, I use oils that have a delicate aroma. My favourites – rose oil, white lily oil and violet oil. Peeling is another form of massage; I do it two or three times a week. I make scrubs using sugar, honey and lemon juice (sometimes replaced with essential oils). The scrub is great for smoothing the skin, improving blood flow, removing pigmentation spots and cleansing the body.
Diet and Skin Condition
Like they say ‘you are what you eat’. The food you eat has a huge impact on the condition and appearance of your skin. Body-friendly products include water, fresh juice, linseed oil, nuts, fresh fruit and vegetables, food rich in vitamins and micronutrients. Food products to be avoided – salt, white sugar, sweets, fast food, coffee, black tea and alcohol.
