Hi, girls!
Today, you’ll find out how I care for my hairdo. Using suitable products and thorough brushing are crucial. If you want to learn how to take care of different hair types, read on!
Which hair brush makes a good choice?
It’s said that hairbrushes made from the natural material are the best ones. Plastic Tangle Teezer is also highly popular. How to match a brush to hair type? The ones made from nylon or natural bristle are the best for fine hair. Such gadgets reduce static and deliver natural shine. Test Remington Silk brush. What do I recommend for normal hair? If you have problems with tangles, use brushes with elastic teeth. Tangle Teezer is perfect for this role. If you have thick hair, go for boar bristle brush e.g. try out BaByliss.
How do I wash my hair and scalp?
I use professional products for washing the scalp. I buy them at hair stores or order at my hairdresser’s. You must use them the right way to get effects. How to do it? Dilute the shampoo with a bit of water because too thick consistency can irritate the scalp. You should apply a conditioner after squeezing out the excess water. Rub it in from mid-lengths. Avoid the scalp to keep sebaceous glands from producing too much sebum. Keep in mind: if you don’t remove the excess of water, the conditioner won’t work. The excess of water weakens the effects.
Blow-dry routine is very important. Don’t rub your hair with a towel cause you weaken the hair bulbs and irritate the scalp this way. Remove the excess of water with a cotton t-shirt or paper towel. Set the cool airflow in the dryer to close skin pores and smooth cuticle scales. If your dryer doesn’t have temperature control button, keep it at the distance of 6 inches from your head.
What products do I use?
Goldwell StyleSign Texture Hardliner, Davines Nounou (repairing set, shampoo + mask), Expert Serie Hydrascalp Pure Resource L’Oreal Professionnel Cleansing Shampoo are my favorites. The first product works as a styling primer, delivers nutrients, protects the natural hair color and prevents frizz. Davines shampoo and mask are great for cleansing and moisturising the scalp. The effects are better when you use both: they repair damaged and dry hair. Expert Serie Hydrascalp Pure Resource L’Oreal Professionnel Shampoo works in a similar way; I use it every two weeks.
